Katy looked around, concern colouring her features. Anna never missed breakfast. Ever. She was one of those people who did all her homework and said things like “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” So where was her sister. So where the hell was she?

Anna had been acting weird recently. Distant. She’d been spending more time with Charlotte than Katy thought she was going to. Especially considering their father’s stance on Slytherins. Apparently that only stood when it was Katy spending time with Slytherins. She narrowed her eyes, slightly annoyed.

They’d had a fight the night before. It had been a huge fight, one that had cleared out their entire common room. Katy and Anna never fought. They tended to let the little things slide by. But this wasn’t little. This was questioning everything they’d been raised with. House importance.

Katy didn’t like it. She was with Anna all the time. She protected her. Anna was not the type to disappear without a word.

And with those creatures from the tri-wizard cup roaming around? It looked bad.
